Dr Thomas Roberts is an environmental sociologist and founding Co-director of the Institute for Sustainability at the University of Surrey. His research who focuses on public perceptions and understanding of environmental policy interventions. He has extensive experience of using a wide range of qualitative research methods to evaluate environmental policy. In particular he is interested in exploring the implications of climate change for healthcare, the skills and training required to facilitate the transition to a zero-carbon economy and consumption and waste disposal practices.
